Activity Tab
Overview
Communication is a key aspect of case management in Pilot. All case activity is located under "Activity" tab on the case view. Pilot provides several ways to communicate with doctors and other team members:
- Case Comments: Internal comments that can be added to the case for team collaboration. These are visible only to users with access to the case.
- Doctor-Lab Messages: Messages that can be sent to the doctor associated with the case. These messages are visible to both the lab team and the doctor.
- Case Problems: Issues that arise during the case lifecycle can be logged as case problems. These are used to track and resolve issues that may impact the case's progress or quality. Case Problems are created automatically and you can find all case problem descriptions in the settings.
- Linked Cases: related cases that were linked to the current one. Will display the whole link chain.

Problems
Problems are automatically-identified issues on specific cases. Check out our Problems page for more information.
Linked Cases
Linking cases means establishing some connection between them. Practically speaking, there are two types of situations when you want to link cases:
- One case is a remake of another one. In this situation, you want to link 2 cases and make the connection a remake one. This will mark the current case as a Remake and let you add remake reasons on specific line items. This way, you can track remake rounds and see the whole case history.
- The product is done in multiple phases. In this situation, you want to link 2 cases and make the connection non-remake. This way, you can track all product stages and the case's history.
