IOS Case Create rule fields and values

Order Number​

  • iTero: A 9 digit number
  • 3Shape: A 10 digit number
  • Medit: An 8 digit number

Case Name​

Specifies for whom this case is for.

  • iTero: iTero Case for {patient last name}, {patient first name}
  • 3Shape: ThreeShape Case for {patient name}
  • Medit: {patient name}'s Case

Medit sometimes additionally specifies Clone or the tooth number.

Scanner Name​

Name of the dental office.

Scanner Type​

Specifies if it's a iTero, 3Shape, or Medit scanner.

Scanner Contact Name​

Name of the dentist or the dental office name.

Scanner Contact Phone​

Only Medit ingests this field.

Scanner Contact Email​

Only Medit ingests this field.

Scanner Address State​

Only Medit and iTero ingest this field.

Scanner Address City​

Only Medit and iTero ingest this field.

Scanner Address Postal​

Only Medit and iTero ingest this field.

Scanner Address Line 1​

Only Medit and iTero ingest this field.

Scanner Address Line 2​

Only Medit and iTero ingest this field.

Order Items Product and Product Display Name​

  • iTero uses an internal number for the product code.
  • 3Shape uses the same name as the Item Product Display Name
  • Medit uses its own product code

Order Items Shade​

  • All portals allow for a shade to be entered so there is some variation in format.

Order Items Stump Shade​

Possible values are

  • NULL
  • ND series: ND1, ND2, ND3, ND4, ND5, ND6, ND7, ND8, ND9
  • ST series: ST1, ST2, ST3, ST4, ST5, ST6, ST7, ST8, ST9

Order Items Tooth Number​

All portals use a number for the tooth number, no extra characters like # or other symbols.
